Get started

If you don't have access to the Procivis One trial yet, head back to the introduction and request access. Once you have access, come back here to get started.

Tips

Before your first steps, consider a few suggestions for making the most of the trial:

  • Follow the tutorials in order

The central elements of the credentials lifecycle—issuing and verifying—are presented first. Start there and continue following the tutorials if you want to dive deeper.

  • Start with the preconfigured elements

In the trial you will find all the ingredients necessary to start issuing credentials or requesting proofs immediately. This includes keys & DIDs to identify you as an issuer or a verifier, credential schemas defining the kind of credential to issue, and proof schemas needed to request proofs. Use these to get started.

If you continue following the tutorials you will create your own custom elements.

  • Consider the credentials workflow

Credentials workflow

Since the tutorials are not presented in the workflow order, each tutorial includes the above graphic with highlights to help you situate the activity within the broader workflow of issuing and verifying digital credentials.

  • Follow the Desk API and docs

Advanced user? The Procivis One Desk uses the Desk API to make calls to the Provicis One Core. Open your browser's inspector and watch the API calls as you take actions in the Desk. Even better, open the Desk API reference in another window for a full look at what's possible through the Desk API.

First steps

  1. Download the Procivis One Wallet

You need a wallet for holding the credentials you're about to issue, and for seeing the full credentials lifecycle in action. Use the links below to download the wallet for your respective platform.

Once installed, open the app and set your 6-digit access code.

  1. (Optional) Download the Procivis One Verifier

Download our mobile verifier app for on-the-go verification. This app enables proximity-based verification of the full range of supported digital credentials in OID4VP and ISO mDL flows in both online and offline exchanges.

tip

Use two devices: one for the Procivis One Wallet and one for the Procivis One Verifier, to test the full credential exchange flow.

  1. Log in and take a look

Use your credentials to log in to the Procivis One Desk.

On the left sidebar you'll see:

  • Organisation dropdown - Switch between available organizations; the trial grants access to one organization.

  • Applications - Use these functions to create and issue credentials, and to create proof requests and verify credentials.

  • Administration - Use these functions to identify your organization as an issuer or verifier, through the use of cryptographic keys and decentralized identifiers (DIDs).

Ready? Let's issue a credential.
